Until now my politics was to not include support for proprietary software (even if the driver itself is open source) until we have a proper sponsoring agreement from the vendor. Thus apply to MongoDB as well as Oracle and similar non-free (as in speech) solutions. We are discussing a sponsoring with MongoDB, but it hasn't finalized yet. I would prefer to not merge this until the sponsor deal is done. Funding the project is also very important for its sustainability :) |

Let's put it as a draft then. I thought MongoDB was AGPL, but apparently they changed licenses many years back. |
